I personally really like my Scorpion Evo. It's handy, easy to shoot, and with a red dot and light it's a very good combo. My AR is nice, but it's too long, loud, and I'd rather not risk it with 5.56. Only thing that would make the scorpion better is some kind of echo trigger for it. Then it would be like a real submachinegun.

I did some tests larp-clearing my appartment with all of my guns, and two observations:
Nagant (as a spear) and shotgun (rifled with buckshots) will really fuck your shit up in a corridor, but as soon as you need to turn a corner you're fucked.
Even my 12' AR is a bit of a bitch to manoeuver in some places.
Meanwhile, I can slap a cheap chinese red dot on my scorp and shoot it one handed around corners. And it has 30 rounds, that can be duct taped by pairs without getting too heavy.
And I can hit reliably up to 100 meters with it.
And with hot expanding rounds, it could pack a hell of a punch.
