What are behavioural problems; or emotional problems? Wanna get a gun license in Canada.

"During the past five (5) years, have you threatened or attempted suicide, or have you suffered from or been diagnosed or treated by

a medical practitioner for: depression; alcohol, drug or substance abuse;behavioural problems; or emotional problems?"

>behavioural problems; or emotional problems?"

It is political speak for "absolutely anything that we might come up without any need for proof whatsoever". It is essentially a plausible permission for police or commissars in the future to come and take away your shooty sticks at any time they might want.

Thats why I'll never put a lot of money into my gun collection. Just a glock, 2 rifles (10/22 Ruger, Bushmaster) and a shotgun.

>>531185

>It is essentially a plausible permission for police or commissars in the future to come and take away your shooty sticks at any time they might want.

Especially with Oppositional Defiant Disorder being a thing.

It is a mental illness which can be diagnosed if a patient regularly displays at least four of the following symptoms, for a six month period:

>Often loses temper.

>Is often touchy or easily annoyed.

>Is often angry and resentful.

>Argues with authority figures

>Actively defies or refuses to comply with authority figures, majority's requests, or consensus-supported rules

>Deliberately annoys others.

>Blames others for his or her mistakes or misbehavior.

>Has been spiteful or vindictive at least twice within the past 6 months.

Of course, a diagnosis should not be made if such behaviour is "normative for the individual’s culture".

Unless "imageboard culture" counts for that last part, I don't think there's a single person on this board who'd be safe from being diagnosed with this, if gungrabbers started using it on large scales.

Well if you follow the rules and keep your guns empty and store the ammo away from the guns. Then a revolver is a good home defense gun cuz its easier and quicker to load.

198c5c No.531746

>>531717

So you can't even keep a loaded mag separate from the gun? That's oddly fucked up.

dd9939 No.531747

But if you get the right license and follow the rules you can own 10kg of explosives on your property.

821907 No.531761

>>531746

From what I understand, you can store ammunition and firearms in the same locked receptacle. For instance, I have a gun cabinet, so I have my pistol in there with a trigger lock (the law says nothing about your tumbler, so my code is already set) and the loaded magazines sitting beside. I also have my rifles in there with the rest of my gun food.

AFAIC, this is completely legal and as long as the mag isn't in the gun, the gun is not loaded and therefor complies with the mandate that guns cannot be stored loaded.

Also, I don't follow the rules all of the time. I take my SKS out of the cabinet while I sleep, and put it back when I wake up. My room also has a locking door, so it is technically compliant with the whole "Non restricted firearms must be stored in a place that is not easily broken into, unloaded." Therefor I can keep a couple clips on the bedside table next to the gun.

>>531761

Yeah, I double checked. You can store funs and ammo together, and "not easy to break into" is subjective because a toolbox with a padlock meets the criteria even though hammer or crowbar will get you in no problem in two seconds. A locking door is the same principal and is no easier to get into than a toolbox. You just brute force it and make a fuck ton of noise.

If your parents drank, spanked you, and ignored you as a child, Canada doesn't want you having a gun.

Canada gives you a choice: a bible or a gun, but not both. I kinda like this actually…

fa5226 No.532322

>>531195

You just described a spanked/abused child. Much of America has tendencies of ODD/BPD/DTD/cPTSD but few get diagnosed because they either find a way to barely function while drinking or otherwise never wake up to why they're so fucking weird/introverted/asshole-ish.

This is literally "I or someone else significant treated this kid like shit" disease. I believe in a parent-license NOT to control birth numbers but to force all adults through a comprehensive, intensive, STRICT, FAIL-ABLE, parenting course or face having their newborns removed at each birth (the license should be like a driver's license, not like a machine gun license).

The bible's take on disease was dead wrong. We have germ theory and evolution now. The bible's take on creating the optimal child and adult is also wrong. It's time religiosity to any sect of Abrahamism be classified as a mental disorder in the west and either treated or certain rights (voting, gun owning) curtailed due to incompetence.

-t. Fedora who owns an arsenal, supports his local police department, and voted Trump. There is no excuse for believing in the tooth fairy as an adult. Same goes for your jeebus.

Did you see it through yet?

This is the sort of 'parenting' I'm referring to. Even if you replaced the belt with open-hand, it's not really any better. It sucks this bad that the girl was late teens, it would suck worse if this was a video of an 8 year old girl. Swap with a boy and a big chunk of sympathizers turn dismissive with "he's got what was coming" and what not. Take all physical striking out and you can tell the adversarial interaction betrays a long-time shattered bond.

If you are this child, or even half of this child, Canada doesn't want you to own a gun.

Think twice before implementing any shit like this, even 1/10th of it, on your own. If you think I'm joking, go research Developmental Trauma and Complex PTSD. DSM-V is still stuck 20 years behind where neural research is today!

a04fdc No.532352

True, but you're using 'muh invisible sky daddy' to reject out of hand a number of other aspects of the church.

First, the church often serves as a central pillar of white, European, traditionalist communities. I'll give you an example.

My home parish is a small church of about two hundred people out in FuddRuck, Nowhere, Rust Belt. Several years back, the local Diocese decided the church wasn't worth running and that the parish would be split and absorbed into those of the nearest three towns. The community collectively said 'Fuck you, we've gotten along fine without your help the last hundred fifty some odd years, we aren't going anywhere". And so they raised funds, found volunteers, and kept the doors open.

What other unincorporated township would be capable of coming together to maintain their culture and identity in such a manner? Without the unifying factor of this church, this community would not continue to exist. They would just become another satellite of the nearest big city and get lost in the multicult.

Second, most people are NPCs and are incapable of thinking for themselves. If they don't get their morals and values from their peers, they're going to get them from ((somewhere else)).

What would you rather them follow? A thousand years of debate on and interpretations of an ancient philosophy text? Or whatever narrative the media is pushing this week?

dd9939 No.532393

In the most society in the world, where anyone can be perfectly free to choose to believe or not to believe, only 4-6% of the population is atheist.

You can push it as hard as you like, if you disallow religious speech you might push atheism up above 20%, if you start killing religious people it could go higher. But the facts don't lie, they're clear, it's plainly IMPOSSIBLE for the vast majority of humans to be civilized without religion. They need to imagine an all powerful being judging them in order to think about their moral decisions, and act morally.

In fact the danger is that, in order to remain civilized, they replace the all powerful being with the all powerful state.
