It supposedly acts similarly to flecktarn in principle. You got a bunch of small dots (or in digital's case, pixels) that make the colors blend at a distance. The concept itself isn't bad, but the problem is that there's people who think that just because a pattern is pixelated, it's instantly a thousand times better, making people disregard the actual pattern design and color selection. This is why flecktarn, TTsKO, KLMK, are still up to par (or sometimes better) than the trillion MARPAT clones there are out there (except for CADPAT and Pencott).
