Feels nice seeing the "not totally anti-gun ban assault rifle owning idiots" libshit getting calmly blown the fuck out.
Too many people have their blood pressure spike at the first insult thrown their way.
More gun owners need to calmly filter through that fluff and pick apart the actual argument (if there even is one).
Nothing drives these people more insane than not falling for their insults while also exposing their irrationality.

I have a question. Would a chainsaw bayonet actually be as retarded as it sounds?
140801 No.528135
Isn't a bayonet mostly for attacking an enemy that's coming at you fast and is too close to get a reliable shot at him anyway?
Or bayonet charges on stationary lines of troops?
Using a bayonet in a mass shooting scenario doesn't make much sense considering pretty much everyone would be running away from the shooter.

Considering how little use actual bayonets get, as well as the extra weight to power a chainsaw that would do more than just graze and scratch the skin? Yes.

Bayonets are for intimidation and desperation, in that order. Originally they were for use against cavalry in place of pikes.

It's not just a sling, it's a two point tactical sling. This is a disgusting weapon created for American special forces operators during the cold war and numerous human rights groups have challenged the legality of these diabolical devices under the Geneva convention.
The two pointed blades built into this two point sling are perfectly spaced to allow for the soldier to gouge out the eyes of children and cause extreme pain and distress in their victims.
Law abiding citizens have no need to own these horrific war crime accessories and they should be banned now.

- You can't build a working car in your garage from a piece of wood, a pipe and a nail;
- you can't contraband cars in inconspicuously;
- you can't CC a car either;
- while we only talk about smart guns, cars already have internet connected computers in them;
- you can make a car-free zone just by dropping a block of concrete on the ground.

HOLD UP!
Stop! Wait, I got an autistic idea.
So you all remember that most buildings in the US are made out of wood, with maybe some insulation in there?
A chainsaw could go straight through that. They could cut a wall into your wall and just walz into your living room without warning, completely circumnavigating any defenses you have set up. Sure, breaching charges or even just a BMD can do the same, but those can also severely injure anyone inside the room you are trying to breach.
Another point is embed related. Most doors only have one locking bolt that attaches to the frame. Unless you are a severe autist or live in a fucked up neighborhood they can cut through your door like pic related.
Even then, they can just cut a smaller hole into the center (see following post) and move through that. Only way to stop them in that case would be a solid metal bar behind the door, or metal reinforcements inside, at which point you can replace the chainsaw with a powerful circular saw, as firefighters often use to make their way into buildings.
So, maybe attaching some kind of saw to a gun won't be nearly as stupid as you may think, just for protecting the one who is breaching.
A peestool would probably suffice, and allow whoever is breaching the door to quickly respond fire if they are attacked by someone behind the door/wall.

Didn't find the video I was looking for.
It showed soldiers or police in military uniforms breaching a plywood door using a chainsaw. They cut an elliptical hole into it, but had some problems getting the saw around the corners. Making multiple swift parallel cuts to create a rectangular hole would have been much easier.

Clearly all the current measures of gun control are not working. No matter how much the US Government restricts access to firearms the shootings keep happening. Therefore to reduce gun crime in the US the US Government should equip everyone with more firearms. That way everyone who is going to cause a shooting will be shot and then there will be no more shootings.

I’m so sick of gun control arguments. Vermont has the least gun control out of any state, and it has the lowest rates of gun violence out of any state.
6364a2 No.539666
>>539663
I've heard the argument that the leftist desire for gun control is animated largely by fear of guns in the hands of the "vibrant" urban underclass. This is an impermissible thought so they displace their fear by vilifying white rural and suburban long gun owners. Hence the way they jump on statistically meaningless mass shootings with white killers. But if you ignore their political and cultural stupidity their fear of firearms in the hands of certain "types" of people isn't totally crazy.
Is gun control defensible in a polity without Vermont's demographics?
9ec51e No.539667
>>539666
The reason why the left in America is so pro gun control is because the america left is so urban. Urban and suburban areas have a very high rate of gun violence because of gangs and high rates of social alienation in urban environments. Then you have moralistic soccer mom types who just blame guns. Also the CIA/NSA is better able to subvert highly populated areas and make gun control popular to help build up the police state. If rural areas were left-wing and urban areas were right-wing we’d see gun control being pushed from the right, not the left. Vermont is pretty white, but more importantly it’s pretty rural, which explain the strong gun rights and low rates of gun violence.
cbe042 No.539672

It won't matter if the urban pop grows to the point where they can win the EC easily in key states. Read: California
