Pretty sure that guy wasn't born in Mexico. Seriously, though, this was a murder. I don't know why, but if they were engaged in illegal activity, this could be a likely scenario. The fact is that SEALs don't need to resort to killing a guy to get rid of him if he's really incompetent. They might do it, if they need to hide something, though.

So from french sauce, the US military op in Nigeria (french typically don't go there, Nigeria speak English it's UK/US niggers) went sideway something fierce. They were hunting some HVT (without telling the french right next door that could at the very least have assets ready if things go sour… but they told the nigerians which would sell their mothers for 1$), the HVT was hunting them… with far more troops and gear. Their column got ambushed several time in about a day, then fully surrounded. The US spec ops (after several casualties) finally realized they bit way more than they could chew and called the french for help, the french send the planes on call (a Mirage 2000D and a Mirage 2000C), the Nigerian army authorized them to strike on their territory however they had no targets on the ground (no JTAC or maybe it was among the casualties) so they just flew low looking spooky which paused the enemy attack.

Since it clearly wasn't enough the french QRF went in with 4 Tigers (which actually did nothing since they couldn't tell the nice Nigerians running away from the bad Nigerians running away) and some Caracals + french spec ops which forced the jihadi to fall back and allow the SEAL to get their wounded and dead out of there.
