That Looks like the standard issue German binoculars. Been a while since I used them, but they are quite good.

They have rubber covers for the front ends though, which have a tendency of staying in front of the lenses or whatever you call them.

You can see this in the picture you posted actually: She has to keep her pinky of the right hand on the flap to prevent it from closing, while the left lense is already blocked.

This is no real problem though, since you can just invert the flaps and they will stay open. Also: only the right eye has the range markings on them, so you only need the right eye to find the range to a target.

Tbh my eye problems prevent me from really effectively using binoculars, ive always used them with one eye.

The woman pictured is the Dutch minister of defense, looking retarded as her left eye's vision is obviously blocked by the cap.

She's currently relevant because our army is underfunded due to our greedy careless politicians, and as a result 2 soldiers died during an exercise due to faulty mortar equipment. She has to resign now due to the pressure put on her. Women in politics: not even once.
