that's the kind if feedback they need, yet it's more likely to turn ugly or just be an obvious case where they are frustrated with you but don't give a fuck otherwise.
One time in training I didn't know what we were doing, where we were going, only the general direction of the guy I was supposed to be following. And our tank broke down. I didn't know shit about it so I just sat up top and ate whatever was in my pockets and waited. 'Enemy' command or scout humvee? pulls up behind us so I threw a .50 blank at them. Literally. The m2 had jammed earlier. They didn't think it was funny. Quite a while later we spotted some idiot in a tank creeping straight out of a wooded area in the direction we were heading, (I don't remember if I was actually looking for anything or just saw movement) so we 'shot' them.
Eventually we get a ride up to the debriefing, which is just a lecture at this point, by some famous guy who starts talking theory and no one else I talked to had done anything but race into the open and die. I think maybe the other guys were being taught to ambush or something so no one cared what we did.
Most of the training that wasn't kicking down doors or first aid or other basics was pretty much the same. Everything else should have taught people to slow down or keep their head down, but that lesson was always wasted.

I guess those drivers get one day of good field exercise, until they inevitably crash and either they or their motorcycles break down, but what about everyone else relying on those messengers to do their job? Why waste money on motorcycles when you could just get ATV's (and ramps for those ATV's so that they can be driven onto lorries and truck-beds)?
