I believe this needs it's own Thread to discuss everything about Daesh/Islamic State. /IslamicState/ and /ISIS/ is full of troll-tier-f*gs.
Anyways, I hear lots of arguments from both side.
One side says that we Muslims are Obliged to fight all the disbelievers till they pay the jizya or go to war[1][2]. The other says otherwise.[3][4][5]
One side says that we are OBLIGED to establish the Khilafah by Force or Peace but that Forcefully is the most efficient way. The other says otherwise. [6] [7]
So, any hard-researched evidence on why the Islamic State is Un-Islamic? They pray, Do Jihad 'fee sabeel allah', give Zakat, and apply Sharia Law. What is the core wrong deed that they are doing that divides the lines between us and "them"?
Also, If you were to be the leader/caliph of the Islamic State, what would you change? add? subtract? teach?

The problem with ISIS began when they declared a khilafah in 2014. At that moment they stopped distinguishing between anyone who wasn't a member of their khilafah. They literally chose to fight everyone who is not them. Not only is this not religiously sound but they did not have the capabilities to defend this terrain whatsoever.
They were also very brutal to their prisoners and not just in private, in high definition videos. Those could have been opportunities to show mercy and give dawah. When they killed AbdurRahman Peter Kassig that is when muslims started to know something was wrong and there was no hiding it.
The sunnis in Iraq have been through hell for 40 years now. I would have liked to see ISIS engage in diplomacy and adopt a defensive posture in liberated sunni areas of Iraq. I don't support the terror attacks they did in Europe either. It was unislamic and also just not rational.
You can be a good muslim, want an islamic state, and fight jihad without being a terrorist or a kharijite. Don't get attached to group personalities and logos.
