Can entheogens get one closer to God?
Is it permissible to do psychadelics for religious purpose, the ones that keep you lucid and aware and are not like alcohol drunkenness, chemically or subjectively.

From first hand experience I can tell you that psychedelics do not keep you lucid. You can gain more knowledge of God on them, but you can gain more knowledge of anything on them, true or false, because they overclock your brain and cause it to find make a slew of new mental connections, all of which are given profound significance regardless of whether or not they are logical.
