Salaam /islam/ from /leftypol/. I want to know: what issues do Muslims seem to have with socialism, communism, and/or anarchism? I say this, because I've worked with Muslims in groups like Students for Justice in Palestine and many anti-war and anti-racism groups and even though they're lovely people they all seem to be offput by any mention of communism or socialism. I've heard them claim everything from allegations that communist states don't have freedom of religion (which is nonsense) to a terse: "communism isn't what the Prophet implemented, therefore it's false". Can anyone here elaborate?
