If you back search this image it will be labeled under autism. Which is what I am about to tell you
Centaur spines have a 90 degree turn. Which for a back is impossible to sustain for long periods of time. So, the proposed solution would be to gradually elevate the spine so there won't such a radical change in the gradient of the spine.
In addition to that, their backs are constantly upright. So, that would be quite taxing on their bodies.
So, to offer some bit of support for their backs. I thought about making a recliner on for their backs. This would take off a great deal of stress and alleviate any pain in their upper back.

a9fa23 No.71659

2b777a No.71670
Centaurs come to earth as for reasons unknown.
During this time, the leaders of the centaur race allow you to marry one woman from their race.
Your options are as follows:
1)You have a traditional farmer centaur.
She can plow the fields in the morn and crate farm equipment back and forth to town. She also cooks really.
However, she has a really large family that's critical on the new species of humans that have arrived. In addition to that, her father will only okay the marriage if you promise never to leave the centaur universe.
e2ce69 No.71671
>>71669
>everything is supposed to be warm and welcoming?
Well, there's certainly some room for argument on that one.
Who has disabilities? And what's SDS?
2b777a No.71672
2)You have a warrior.
She's tough, she's fast and has fought many of monsters on expeditions. She doesn't like to be weighed down by any equipment other than her armor.
She can make a quick homemade meal on the fly and kill any intruder that dare enters the camp.
Her father has political influence and has a very high position in the government.
He has two brothers, both of which are extremely strong, fast, and have seen many of battles.
If you decide to get married to her. The Father and the two brothers will both hate you and will do everything in your power to make you feel unwelcome. However, once you get married. The father buys you a piece of land so you and his daughter can live happily and have a large family.

e2ce69 No.71674
>>71673
Being a big spastic isn't a real disability.
2b777a No.71675
3)You have the city girl.
She's a dainty girl that's very high maintenance. She comes from a small plutocrat family and prefers to have someone cook for her. She prefers men that are sharply dresses and has some stature in society.
Her father is a very wealthy business man and her mother is a very rich socialite. She throws extravagant parties for her friends and her husbands coworkers. She is constantly busy, so it takes time away from her family. That's not to say she spoils them. The city girl has one sister and one brother. The sister is a very famous socialite and very well educated. However, she's married to a centaur of high status.
The brother is also well educated and is set to inherent the business of his fathers.
If you get married to the city girl, the family will of course reject you. However, they're open to new ideas. Once you get married, the father will wish you the best of luck and the mother will throw you a very lavish wedding. Your wedding will be featured on the front of the national newspaper and your wife will only want 2 kids.

There's not much to say about one.
It's supposed to be simple and straight forward. The family is just happy that she married a man with some income other than selling crops.
Three is supposed to be pure too. As the duaghters and the son aren't some degenerate rich asshole that spends all their money on drugs. The only thing that would hinder your love for her is the fact that she can be a spoiled brat.
In scenario two, the father is basically buying you the land because he wants to hide his embarrassment. Plus, he wants to make his daughter happy. So, what father wouldn't cave to those demands?

Fighter/muscle girls are very high tier wife material though, especially with the kind of disposition I'm thinking of right now. The cheery and friendly kind, not the super stern variety. Whereas rich ojou-sama types my penis might really like, but I'm not certain I'd actually want to spend any real amount of time with.
Ah, well that makes sense, then, even if it's not ideal. As long as I can keep her happy, then, the father would at least bear with the situation.

I probably would have chosen the farmer centaur and kowtowed until I reached some agreement on crossing to the other universe.
I mean, what's not to like?
She wants lots of kids.
She always food ready.
She's living better since you probably have more of an income than her family.
Plus you also have some land. So, you could put your kids to work and feed them if you have more than 4.
Also, I forgot to mention.
All your kids come out as centaurs.

Why send the meek to space and stay on earth just to repeat the cycles of society until ad infititum?

I think history has proven that a naive sentiment to some extent. I believe it's all bit impossible to have major technological innovations like the automobile and the internet without fundamentally altering the civilization itself in ways that no one can predict at the time.
I have no interest in conquering space until we encounter some advanced alien species we can exert the will of humanity over. I think that's the only way we can recover our "spark", as it were, and come back from our status as a doomed species.
this is if we're certain space exists in the first place.
2b777a No.71694

Greatness is achieved when the unknown becomes known.
The famous explorers found hidden and ancient civilizations buried in the jungle and in the oceans.
But it's strange how those men conquer and then a berated to the point that they're only shadows of their former selves.
Man's curse is the constant need to work as if he does not work he dies.
While returning to a traditional lifestyle would temporarily ease the issues of today. It would only be some time until the same problems become relevant again.
Besides, Manifest Destiny proved that man's love for the unknown is too great and danger has little relevancy when there is potential reward. Right?
If space was ever conquered, then we'd be the most advanced species ever to exist. We would gain knowledge of the unknown and continue to build said civilization forever or until all is known.

There's no reason to assume that we would even return to the same point and have things look exactly the same again, though. Even looking at a modern refrigerator, if all the information about how to create it and its component parts is lost, the science behind how it works is surprisingly advanced enough that it would take a very long time to get back there, if it's recovered at all.
Every piece of technology we take for granted today had so many iterations built upon that's it's insane.
>Man's curse is the constant need to work as if he does not work he dies.
Not today, he doesn't. We've essentially done away entirely with the notion of "he who does not work, does not eat", and half the jobs we do have can very easily be described as "Make work".

No, man still must work.
Otherwise, he rots and becomes consumed in the existential void that only exists in his thought.
I can choose not to work. But this doesn't mean I am above the laws of nature. Nature still rules bodies.
While simply not working is an alternative. It poses problems with our bodies and with our minds. We can eat all we want too. Sleep all we want too. Entertain ourselves endlessly. But eventually, they all become insipid.
Doing the same routine everyday leaves ruts in our daily life.

I can't say much at this point beyond just, "I disagree.".
It really depends on how generous you want to be with your definition of "work". I agree that men generally derive their satisfaction in life primarily from work and family, (formed family, not the one they're born into), but there have traditionally and certainly are entire castes that are relatively satisfied in life despite contributing nothing of value.

Arid have we all become; and fire falling upon us, then do we turn dust like ashes:—yea, the fire itself have we made aweary.
All our fountains have dried up, even the sea hath receded. All the ground trieth to gape, but the depth will not swallow!
'Alas! where is there still a sea in which one could be drowned?' so soundeth our plaint—across shallow swamps.
Verily, even for dying have we become too weary; now do we keep awake and live on—in sepulchres.

I suppose there can be those that are significant to the narrative. I still didn't read it though, although it didn't help that that was during the time my friend was living with me, and our PCs were set up such that he only had to turn his head to the side to see my monitor straight on.
I guess my problem primarily is that for some reason, the authors like to insert them at high points in the story, and they just destroy tension and pacing. The most egregious example off the top of my head was in Fate, when you're going to have your final battle with berserker at the mansion, but no, you need to stop first for a really long ero scene so you can "transfer your magical energy".
