Ah, picked up drawing as a hobby now?
I never figured out how to use GIMP good, so I just always use PaintNet with some additional tools.
Watching a bit of CSGO/Rainbow Six Siege videos.
46748a No.48934
>>48933
Drawing's always been part of it, but I was always best as pixel art. You can look at it, shift pixels around and understand what's right and wrong. It's way fucking harder to do that with "proper" art.
I use GIMP best. Used to it over nearly a decade or so. Six years at least.
Meh. Not exactly interesting games, I must say.
51334b No.48935
>>48934
I get that, can also copy sprites from other works to use as basis easier than drawing a whole new thing.
I even did all of my photoshop courses with PaintNet as it was a lot more confusing to use, and creating transparent images required 5-10 unnecessary steps.
As I put it earlier, I get my kicks out of a good challenge in a game.
Although stomping scrubs is always fun too.
46748a No.48936
>>48935
I used to do that a lot. Nowadays, I only use the color palettes from them, as they're better at picking them out than me.
Kek. It used to be annoying with GIMP too, though I found a way to make it easier automatically.
Anything online multiplayer disgusts me, honestly.
51334b No.48937
>>48936
Ah, right, I use that sometimes when I correct things.
I found it always easier with PaintNet as you just choose area and then cut it out, the image turns automatically into png and has transparent properties.
I like online games a bit more because most things won't be the same every time I play, the factor of having a human mind in there.
46748a No.48938
>>48937
It's mainly because the art style I'm stealing has a very specific palette as well.
I set it so that it creates automatically transparent images. Pretty comfy.
I just hate competition most times, honestly. Bit of a princess complex. Well, not bit. Very much of one. At least IRL, I'm playing with someone I like, so I know they don't hate me when they virtually rape my ass.
51334b No.48939

I don't really have that problem, but I don't play certain games because I know nothing and I'd lose.

46748a No.48944

Well, this sorta showcases the art style.
I'm kinda like that too. I'm more fond of singleplayer, story heavy stuff.
51334b No.48945

Quite ambient, nice.
I get tired of a story once I've played it 2-3 times through, and maybe play it again after a long while.
Although I've played Fallout New Vegas and Stalker Call of Pripyat through way too many times.
When I know that a game has mechanics that make my win % higher, I will commit to it more, I mean like the general mechanics of 1 shot 1 kill instead of silly things like people being bullet sponges and major character differences.

Same thing in Sweden too, really.
I just feel like the change to Euro and all of the industry things made some sort of an economical miracle here in early 2000s as things were pretty secluded and self-efficient, opened up a grand market to all sorts of fancy goods.
