I'm paid well enough that I can live comfortably without a roommate, even on 30 hours, and because my place is unionized, I haven't been able to find a place that would offer full time and have comparable pay. The last place I worked was a meat packing plant supervising somalis for full time, but only at $15 an hour, so I think I'm quite a bit better off now. The 6-2:30 Monday to Friday was really nice, though.
