Hardware seems poor for a home console, and pretty powerful for a handheld.
I think it sits just a tad below an xbone if I'm remembering what I read correctly.

Presentation was hit or miss for me, really.
Some of it was great, namely the game announcements, but the hardware/internet stuff was a little eh.
When we learned that there was no extra hardware in the dock to supplement the tablet, I started seeing it as that.
Nintendo can't come out and say that it's their new handheld since the 3ds is selling like hotcakes right now, so they'll ride that for the next year and a half and then drop it for the switch.
It's the same as when the DS came out, they were saying it wasn't going to replace the Game boy line.
