So, I have a friend who is a close associate with Vergeben himself, and we've been exchanging information. This is what I found out. Geno is the Square rep. He was the farthest that Square would budge since he's technically a Mario character. He's being made to promote a Super Mario RPG remaster coming next year on the Switch. My source doesn't know what his stage is, but it will either be Bowser's Castle with Exor, Forest Maze, or Smithy's factory. The other characters I have heard about are Banjo, Porky, Sylux, and apparently Linkle from Zelda. Linkle could be starring in a new 2D Zelda coming out late next year for the Switch, but I can't be sure. And yes, DLC characters will add new spirits and bosses to WoL. For Banjo, apparently they're adding either Gruntilda or the Wither from Minecraft, which lines up with what Verg said. Hopefully this clears up some rumors.
PS- There will not be a Smash trailer at the Game Awards. Don't get your hopes up.

About nine in 10 (89 per cent) expect that over the next half-century robots and computers will be doing much of the work currently done by humans, the second-highest level believing this will happen among 10 countries surveyed.
>While 74 per cent say the Japanese economy will be more efficient as a result, more than eight in 10 (83 per cent) say inequality will worsen. In particular, about three-quarters of the public (74 per cent) believe ordinary people will have trouble finding jobs in a more automated economy, and a majority (58 per cent) do not believe automation will generate new, better-paying employment.

Volume 1 and Volume 2 wasn't good either, but at least the show was exactly what it was marketed to be.
Basically a story just competent enough to justify the overly stylish fights that Monty would create. RWBY only came to exist because Monty had Rooster Teeth by the balls and he wanted a show to make cool fights
When Monty passed away they lost focus entirely, the fights got progressively dumber, the writing went completely off base Monty's goal no longer being the focus, and the entire animation department doesn't understand the concept of quality control.
This becomes that much more obvious when you realize that as soon as Monty passes away the change the animation engine that design choices that made the characters exactly who they were and were designed to be that way by Monty himself originally.

It's literally Rooster Teeth's biggest show right now.
Burnie Burns - one of the original writers of Rooster Teeth and the reasons they exist almost entirely; stopped writing back in like 2013 when he gave everything over to Miles Luna to be lead writer. Burnie was literally was one of the main writers behind all of RT's big things - literally wrote Seasons 1-10 of RvB and was the voice of Church (you know the most important character in the entire web show).
The joke here is that until Rooster Teeth starts hemorrhaging money he is actually more cost effective right now to just keep everything the way it's going. RWBY is a meme that is self propagating.
The cost to literally replace and retrain the entire chain of command, rewrite every show from scratch to correct the continuity issues, and force actual animation quality is just not financially responsible now. It's so broken that you would literally need to blow it up to actually fix the fucking thing.

>The "house master" received fifty to sixty per cent of the girls' gross earnings depending on how much of a debt each girl had incurred when she signed her contract. This meant that in an average month a girl would gross about fifteen hundred yen. She turned over seven hundred and fifty to the "master". Many "masters" made life very difficult for the girls by charging them high prices for food and other articles.
>The interrogations further show that the health of these girls was good. They were well supplied with all types of contraceptives, and often soldiers would bring their own which had been supplied by the army. They were well trained in looking after both themselves and customers in the matter of hygiene. A regular Japanese Army doctor visited the houses once a week and any girl found diseased was given treatment, secluded, and eventually sent to a hospital. This same procedure was carried on within the ranks of the Army itself, but it is interesting to note that a soldier did not lose pay during the period he was confined.

It happens all the time in democracies funnily enough.
Basically, politicians don't really care about human rights and 3rd world poverty. They bring in thousands of refugees and immigrants to maintain a stable voting base. So, all those foreigners being let into your country are a large voting block for your politicians. Same thing happened in the Wiemar Republic with Russian and Polish refugees during the Polish-Soviet War and the Russian Civil War.
