I have steam on my desktop for gaming, I have steam on my laptop for talking to people and sometimes playing old video games when im too lazy to get to my desktop
youd be surprised how hard it is to get people to use something like that, steam is convenient you have it when playing games without alt tabbing, its pretty much always on with your pc/laptop on everyone uses it etc
the main problem with the update for me is its unresponsive, i need to wait for upwards of 30 seconds for it to respond, probably my shitty laptop dont have any issues on my desktop.

Well, I majored in electronics in college, but the major that I got in now had renewable energy in it, so pretty much small time electronics with solar panels and bigger stuff like turbines to generate energy out of streams, was hoping to get that, but eventually got an email saying that I got the full-on nature major.
It's still possible to change the major later on, so I'll have to see if I can get the renewable energy stuff as it's more so my old field.
I don't really know what qualifies as a nature person, but I used to go picking chanterelles and different kinds of berries from the woods for relatives to use in cooking, also did quite a bunch of fishing back in the day and still have all sorts of fishing equipment for fly fishing and ice fishing.

Well, there are no wine farms here to be honest.
But the major I'm going in for is just about pollution and water purification, also just taking samples and seeing if some of the levels are on the rise etc.
What I mostly see in it is the possibility for exchange student stuff, since the pollution problem in bodies of water here is quite a bit less than in most other countries~

Shanghai's pretty much a very western place, even more western and capitalist than Beijing.

It was a great experience for me, since back at home tallest buildings are only like 10-20 floors tall, and there's no neon lights anywhere or those buildings with their outer walls being all glass.

Well, it depends on the cities, mine is just one of those old cities from 1200s with some old structures and those Victorian style buildings around, but if you go 10-20km away from the center it's all forests until you get to either countryside or small towns between other bigger cities.
