so… there's thjis site called H4pno-fetish.com. I signed up using a fake email (EASY TO DO) and found their 'music' library. So far I flash-got 800 files .. most of which were shared here on vola/mega..etc. but there is some unique content. (I used mp3tag to bring back the original file names)

change the 4 to a y.

The problem with this site is the fact everyone uploads the exact same files they probably got from there into their stupid playlist. So you have 1000s of playlists of the same files.

2) found some gems among the shitpile

3) Looks like it's run by the wmm guys

4) transfer speed > 2 megs/sec even through proxy

5) up to 1100 unique files now

How are you bulk downloading in the first place.

if you use flash-get in firefox it will not download duplicate files. Once you download a shitload, copy the files into another directory and use a program called mp3tag to rename the files using the title and author tags instead of the random character strings. I downloaded about 1500 unique files, and was able rename about 1000. It took me a whole 7 hours to do this.

flash-get is a firefox plugin that downloads everyhing on a page. you can even use it on vola though limit the app to 3w simultaneous downloads for maximum throughput. there are other firefox plugins that do the same thing.
