La vida no tiene propósito. Las personas se crean las ilusiones, deseos y luchas que quieran para justificar su existencia (guerras, seguir reproduciendose, religiones, deidades, vida después de la muerte, poder, dinero, relaciones, tener buen trabajo, ser millonario, tener lujos, etc).
En mis ojos, la dos ilusiones más comunes en nuestra sociedad (latinoamérica) son la religión para justificar nuestra existencia (a nivel personal y colectivo), y la ilusión de ser exitoso en la vida y que el éxito lo trae la fama, el dinero, el poder y las mejores relaciones.
>¿En base a dicho propósito, cuál es tu filosofía sobre la vida?
Desde el principio de mi adultez hasta ahora que tengo 24 tuve una crisis existencial. Si la vida no tiene propósito y no creo en dios ni en la vida después de la muerte, ni me interesa formar parte de los juegos de la sociedad, para qué seguir con vida? Por un tiempo pensé que mi propósito sería ayudar a los demás, pero me dí cuenta que odio a la humanidad. Entonces decidí que mi propósito en la vida sería buscar el placer inmediato.
Entonces empezé a vivir una vida frustrada. Vivía la vida que criticaba tanto (trabajo de 8 a 5, buscar dinero, buscar relaciones) y al mismo tiempo buscabar el placer inmediato a todas horas ya que esa mi propósito en la vida (alcohol, drogas).
El hedonismo extremo me trajo gran sufrimiento en la vida. El gran sufrimiento me hizo darme cuenta de que:
>1. todo en mi vida es sufrimiento (lo mismo aplica a los demás, pero yo solo hablo por mí).
>2. Sufro porque lo que deseo no ocurre inmediatamente (dinero, relaciones, cosas materiales, refugio, comida, etc)
>3. Algunos de estos deseos son naturales, otros son ilusiones de la sociedad.
>4. Si me libero de los deseos, puedo liberarme del sufrimiento, ya que si no deseo nada no sufro ni entro en controversia con nadie.
Entonces estoy teniendo otra crisis existencial. O irme de vuelta al hedonismo y morir humillantemente en mi juventud, o seguir el segundo camino y hacer cambios drásticos en mi vida. Sé que lo correcto para mí sería la segunda opción, pero mi cuerpo me pide la primera.

En ningún momento he dicho que soy único y diferente o que soy budista, de hecho trato de hablar por mí para no generalizar. Temas que toca el budismo (ascetismo, ataraxia, vida simple, etc) ya fueron desarrollados por otras filosofías en siglos anteriores (estoicismo, epicureismo, cinismo.
Peor sería generalizar de que todo lo que hablo sobre mí aplica a los demás, como dije al principio todos tienen su ilusion en la vida, no soy nadie para criticar las ilusiones de los demás, aunque habemos personas que miramos las cosas como son: ilusiones.
La verdad odio a la sociedad en la que vivo, sería feliz en una sociedad donde predomine el budismo o una vida más simple y menos materialista, pero ese soy yo. En nada tiene que ver con lo que dije en mi post anterior si odio a la sociedad o no, no camia el proposito/objetivo/camino en nada.

Pienso que la vida en si, no tiene un propósito, lo único que hacemos y seguir nadando en este mar de mierda al que llamamos existencia hasta que inevitablemente terminemos hundiéndonos. Lo único cercano al concepto de propósito que yo veo sería vivir lo que se pueda, es decir, disfrutar los pequeños momentos tranquilos que obtienes, e intentar no morir mientras llegas a cada momento. A veces veo los videojuegos (tipo space invaders, pacman y demás) como una metáfora de la vida, pues vivimos, disfrutamos un rato de tranquilidad, y después volvemos a la acción, solo que se hace tan y tan difícil que inevitablemente morimos.

Uno lee lo que quiere leer. Leístes algo que no te gustó y te empezó a arder el ano. En reiteradas ocasiones dije que hablo por mí y no por los demás.
Además uno tiene que ser un tonto ignorante para no reconocer que nuestra sociedad (latinoamérica) está mal. Todo gira en torno a la gratificación instantánea en base a lo material, algunos como yo se van a buscar esa gratificación instantánea en las substancias. La escencia sigue siendo la misma. Yo al menos reconozco el problema y la existencia de la ilusión, otros viven toda su vida sin percatarse.
Algunos le dejan todo al azar (dios). "Esto ocurrió porque así dios lo quiso, ojala que dios me dé el trabajo que quiero, ojala que dios me libre a mí y a mis seres queridos de enfermedades mientras otros mueren de enfermedades". A esta gente no le tengo respeto alguno, tienen locus externo, carecen de instrospección o pensamiento crítico.
Tampoco creo que soy más inteligente que los demás, tener estas realizaciones es una maldición, vivo cabreado e infeliz en vez de ser feliz en la ignorancia.

Aunque, como partimos de hecho de que es probable que Dios no exista, tampoco existe la vida después de la muerte, así que la vida es lo único que tenemos y debemos apreciarla. Para realmente amar a la vida debemos alejarnos de la moralidad esclavista de la religión y conocernos a nosotros mismos (γνῶθι σαυτόν).

Una simple pregunta como la que hizo OP puede llevar a respuestas complejas e instrospectivas si uno no utiliza una respuesta bara como "porque dios existe".
El ser humano, con su propia inteligencia, puede descubrir la respuesta a muchas incógnitas existenciales sin la necesidad de recurrir a dioses o a lo sobrenatural.
