So, I just went around pouncing anything remotely birdlike so I could lay siege to my enemies with an army of harpy daughters… and it's all quite well animated too.
There's just enough strategy to it to make it fun without being trial-and-error-y, it doesn't punish you for using what you like best, I'm very impressed. I want to see this game develop further real bad, it's a gem.

I've 100%'d the game on Maniac, which is pretty insane. Everything is level 60, minimum.
Fortunately, equipping your team with top tier equipment and filling all the equipment sockets with green cards will allow you to take on things 30 levels above you, but you'll need to use the Princess and a Beegirl if you want to kill large enemies. The samurai maid and the harpies attacks deal 0 damage to them if you're not strong enough, and slimes are super fucking shit.

Unfortunately, there's only one for CGs. There's not many of them and they're kinda uninteresting. You have to fiddle around with the camera to watch the sprite animations, because the hit marker frequently gets in the way.
It's unfortunate, because the sprite work is very nice.

Huh, I didn't expect to like this since I didn't like Angry Birds but it's actually really fun. I like the tactics that all the different attacks and movements add, and breeding is always fun. Really nice art too, the backgrounds can be annoying though when you can't tell what a ledge's hitbox is.

Apparently new content is still being added, I downloaded the new version from last month and there were two new CGs, and I think new sprite scenes to go with them. I might have seen them before. Not sure.
The sprite scenes were already unlocked, I guess they're from beating the extra stages. I just had to watch them and the new CG's were unlocked.

I disagree with this, the hybrids are powerful but they have the tradeoff of coming in at a much lower level than purebreeds and require time grinding to get them up. Further, even then they have counters. Pour everything into alarunes and watch as flying things screw you over, etc.

I forgot this was an H-game when I was playing it. Had a shitload of fun maxing it out. Sprites are top notch, I just wish they did a better job of the ejactulation animations as they are a weird 3d animation which looks odd compared to the sprite sex animation. There's so much effort in this game it's surprising they didn't just finish the ejaculation animations. Anyway, really fun, would recommend.

It's a real game changer, especially later when you have maps of exclusively "airborne" enemies.

I encountered the same issue but via clicking blindly, I found the buttons.
The button to start is the only button on the left half, it shouldn't be too hard to find.
After returning to the menu, the buttons still don't display right for me but they are kind of visible. You should be good once you found the start one.

Alarune is only good when the enemy is grounded. They can't hit anything flying or awkwardly placed. Personally I use Beelzebubs as my main go-to. They can easily and safely hit anything, anywhere on the map, regardless of where they are placed. The downside is they do too little damage per-hit to hurt bosses, and they have relatively weak AOE so they can't manage numbers as well.
I think I'll try to explain every monster unit:
Slime: Contact damage only. Relatively high damage, but no multi-hit, weak AOE and weak ground abilities. You'll probably phase these out very early on.
Harpy: Flying. Moves slightly forward, then fires bow twice. Each shot is a spread of 3 arrows aimed roughly forward. Very low damage unless you hit with all 6 arrows point blank, not generally worth using
Honeybee: Flying. Flys up, then stabs diagonally down. Generally a slight upgrade from Slimes, but still nothing special
Carbuncle: Flying. Flys in a straight line dropping 3 icicles down on enemies below. Icicles are spread out so they can easily miss enemies and almost never double hit. Medium damage. Niche use only.
Orc: Exactly the same as the enemy orcs. Slams sword down doing damage in a very small area in front of her, and hitting everything diagonally-up from impact with debris. High damage single hit.
Arachne: Wide Forward Shockwave, incredibly high damage and 2x hit. Shockwave travels much further than the graphic shows. Completely grounded after initial throw, rarely hits anything on subsequent turns. Personal favorite heavy-hitter
Dryad: Attacks up to 3 targets with roots from the ground. Unlimited range but the roots only rise a short distance from the ground, unable to hit air. Medium-high damage
Kraken: Summons a rain of small fireballs diagonally forward-down. Low damage per hit but hits many times. Not weak, but there are much better AOE options
Mermaid: Similar to Arachne, fires a projectile forward in a straight line. Lower damage, width, range, and cannot double hit, HOWEVER Mermaids will automatically jump to the nearest enemies height before firing, meaning they have a good chance of hitting every round.
Lamia: Jumps forward, spins, and does damage in a huge radius. Great AOE option. Low-medium damage-per-hit but high total damage.
Succubus: Flying. Releases a magical explosion centered on her. Multiple hits for low damage.
Centaur: Fires a single projectile in the direction of the nearest target, passing through all terrain and enemies. Medium damage.
Scylla (Kraken+Wolf): Teleports to the nearest enemy, attacking it with a melee grapple and doing damage to nearby enemies as well. Slightly more damage than Centaur
Siren (Bird+Fish): Flying. Self-centered AOE with single-hit high damage and heals. One of the best AOE options, but moves very little after the initial throw.
Lilim (Bat+Snake): Flying. Same AOE as Succubus, but throws it diagonal-down from her position instead. Generally harder to use.
Bicorn (Horse+Orc): Fires a projectile diagonally up (not sure if this does damage) which then bursts overhead showering everything in front of her with lots of low-damage particles. Moves too much between shots so she often overshoots targets.
Beelzebub (Bee+Spider): Flying Explained above. Best total damage out of the three "homing shots" (Scylla and centaur), but lowest per-hit damage.
Alarune (Tentacle+Slime): Exactly as with Dryads, but attempts to hit every target on the map. Might do lower damage than Dryad?

This is wrong. They are good enough early game. Far better than most of what you can get for quite a while, but only the first two are actually decent and even those are way outclassed by some of the better monsters. Try running Siren, Alarune, and Beelzebub and tell me that the humans are good.

I'll agree it's pointless. You can pretty much ignore it entirely. While it does make a difference of double or half damage on specific types, you can easily just brute force it, especially since 80% of your matchups with any given character are going to be equal or better. The only place where it might matter is if you overcommit to one element and end up fighting a boss or something that's resistant to that element.
