Hello /g/
By this point it is absolutely obvious how mainstream online and offline services (such as those provided by Google, Microsoft, Apple, etc..) are constantly mining our data and logging it.. Life now feels like a cyberpunk-dystopia-prologue-tier scene.
Probably most of you faggots have already dropped those services for more secure and pro-freedom ones such as DuckDuckGo and Linux.
However, one could easily take it a bit too far and sacrifice actual utility and usability for the sake of an added 1% of privacy.
So my question is, as a normal technology consumer who isn't an enemy of state but isn't also government sheep, at what point did you draw the line? How did you make that transition? What pushed you to do it? And what alternatives did you choose?
It's good to help a friend who still has Corporates', Government's, and ISP's dicks up his ass, ya know.
pic is related, believe it or not.
