I recently got my hands on a T-Mobile Galaxy S5 - the only problem is that I'm an Ausfag, so half the apps are Burgerstan-only and useless to me, and the other half is mostly bloatware. How can I go about permanently removing this stuff (not just hiding it), and removing all traces of burger from the phone?

You're going to need to root, You'll also want a custom recovery, TWRP is pretty nice. Get a debloated and Deodexed S5 ROM and you'll be good. Just google the "[phone model number] + deodexed ROM
