They vary as widely as men in the fandom. I've met nice, level-headed ones and a very, very few crazy ones. The legends are true, there *are* far more men than women in the fandom, but women do exist. In my personal experience, most of the women have looks in the average-to-good range. The overweight, slobbish types are in the minority, and there's also some very sexy furry women.

They usually have a coterie of like 5 or so other guys they can pick between and are usually pretending to be gf to. All of the ones I've talked to have some form of mental disorder. Usually bi-polar disorder or borderline personality disorder. They tend to have very rapid mood swings or exaggerate events. A lot of female furries are in the fandom more so because no other social group will put up with their bullshit. Furries on the other hand are extremely tolerant to mental illness will put up with verbal abuse and harassment. I've seen this first hand and it's really disturbing.

This is the wrong way to do things. It's very hard to meet a female furry in the fandom that isn't taken. It's recommended you find a normie girl and convert her. This is far easier to do. I met about five or six women on pounced who were all smart, interesting, creative (above average in all three, which is not saying much really but I’m easily satisfied). Some were good looking and the rest were chubby, nerdy, or just not supermodels but not ugly or gross. A vast majority of them are normal, but only 20% of that normal interacts with the community at large. The rest are typically artists or popufurs with an image to uphold.
