I was with you starting whining about muh cub art and muh trump. Are you so unhinged that everything has to be about politics to you?

And there's the fact whenever someone tries to save the fandom at large from it own deserved reputation, those same people running the websites and conventions pull out as much slander as they can- accusing those people of being sexists, homophobes, and every other -ist and -phobia they can think of. It was apparent from the beginning that they would do everything possible to remain in positions of influence and power, and I don't see it stopping anytime soon. It's quite a mess honestly.
Barring a change in attitude among those people, the only way to salvage the fandom is to start your art sites, conventions, and eventually payment processors and banks when the inevitable attempts to shut you down through those means inevitably occur. I doubt there would be enough pressure from activists and corporations for that to happen, but who knows? Maybe there's more money and political capital in furry smut than I think.

Let's go through the list:
>establishment politicians
>"revolutionaries" of all persuasions
>corporate-socialists
>/cow/ but only when it's funny
>people who see the turmoil as a chance to recruit for their idealogies see socialists and no 2
>CIA?
>lawyers
>(((big nose tribe))), if /pol/ is truly to be believed
Well, there may be a need to narrow this down, since it's mostly throwing vaguely connected things together in a list.
