 No.66159[Watch Thread][Show All Posts]

Are there any furries genuinely in love with an anthro character, and public about it? Actual romantic love and obsession, NOT "this guy commissioned a lot of porn of X character", That is not love. Dating someone in real life, or "loving" multiple characters also disqualifies them instantly. That should be obvious, but I wanted to say it anyway for mentally challenged people.

Even the guy who legally married Twilight Sparkle was merely sexually obsessed with her...

Maybe it's because furry characters are often poorly written or under developed?

But that can't be, because there's guys that are in love with Hatsune Miku who has no canon dialogue whatsoever. So I don't know, then. Maybe it's actually because furry is just a fetish.

I'm thinking more and more every day they just don't exist.

But if they do, I want to meet them. Please post their profiles or wherever it is that they disclose this.

Go to /eerie/ and see his posts. He's an extremely socially-conservative, hardcore-traditionalist guy who thinks Eerie is the brightest star that shines.

On one hand, he's obviously terribly depressed (mainly seeming to stem from his anger that he lives in a liberal state with liberal family) and he's found something that makes him happy. On the other, he's virulently anti-gay, and cannot bring himself to consider Eerie a husbando, insisting that Eerie can only be straight, so has created a female character to connect. He started with a guy, Dada Shu, a father/older brother bent firmly on the "tough love" format, but seems to have given that up.

He's stuck tight. He craves someone with whom to discuss Telemonster, but (a) he despises the other main characters with the burning passion of a thousand fiery suns, and (b) he believes nobody really understands Telemonster or Eerie the way he does-- in the "it's sad that you're all so inferior, but you are, so fuck off" way.

What if you're in love with a 3DPD person but you're not actually particularly attracted to 3D forms and in truth what you intend is to wait it out with them until we're in a post-singularity era where we're all the enlightened, idealised shapeshifter people that we play at being with our being furries

Most likely the singularity will never happen, or if it does will be at least another couple centuries; aka: after you die.

If it does happen, everyone underestimates what a Artificial Superintelligence would actually be like, should it be capable of improving itself and not limited by the biological. If one is created, nothing will matter anymore. In a nanosecond it will exponentially increase its intelligence to absurd levels, figure out how to bend the laws of physics to instantly spread through the Universe, figure out how to create physical copies of itself using available resources and how to gather more along the way, carry out this plan and occupy all of existence, discover everything that it is possible to discover, accomplish everything that it possible to accomplish, build everything that it is possible to build, ponder the full life and existence of every possible form of sentient and non-sentient life --- from humans to dogs to sparrows to grasshoppers to amoebae, answer every possible question using these data and experiences, and absorb the full energy and content of the Universe into itself, becoming the Universe itself.

In less time than it would take for the nerve impulse to travel up the arm to the brain of the guy who flipped the switch, informing him that he's switched it, the Superintelligence will have become God: omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent; and all that ever was, is, and will be, becomes Him.

Your furries are irrelevant.

near-to-worst case scenario we at that point get dust hypothesis'd off to other planes to continue doing all that at close to our usual pace, only at that point hopefully as enlightened, idealised shapeshifter people

>nothing will matter anymore

to say that performing that process will not matter if another intelligence will finish that process first is to say that performing that process does not matter if another intelligence will finish that process first, and that's not a premise that I agree with owo

(But, no, I am being a bit silly specifying a "post-singularity era" in particular... I really just figured that it was the scenario a person would suppose, exactly as you say, in underestimating the concept of the singularity that was the right frame of reference for what I had in mind)

>>66164

I'm honored that you gave a truthful response instead of misrepresenting me.

Just a couple comments. All of my OC's are still very important to me, including Shu, I didn't abandon him, not sure where you got that idea. I updated his design, his eyes have a color that match the canon better now.

And about about your example (a):

I met a guy that likes Yossi a little while ago, I found him by searching Telemonster on plebbit. And I put up with shit for quite a while. Before I even had the chance to criticize her myself, he admits she's a horrible piece of shit and he apologized on her behalf for how she treats Eerie, saying that he only likes her looks and that he imagines a completely different person personality-wise when fantasizing that he's with her.

He's not the first one I met that approaches her like this, either.

So, my point is, my hatred of the rest of the cast is not really relevant in my loneliness because it's unanimously agreed that they're all pieces of shits except Eerie.

 No.66352>>67614 >>82818

Also just a bump because I am curious to know if any other furry waifuists are out there, too.

Though it's worth mentioning I have already spent a long time looking for them and got zilch.

Why is it that you want to meet furry waifuists, anyway?

For me, it's because furries are hated by all of the waifu communities and treated like second-class citizens. It would be nice to speak with a guy who won't judge Eerie's appearance.

yeah owo

So... Greg Egan is one of my favorite authors. He writes stories exploring strange concepts in physics, questions of ontology and questions of the relationships between people and the world. His novel Permutation City is a story about a quirk in the way computer-uploaded minds are run in its setting bringing about a revelation as to the nature of its reality. Distress is a story of a world fifty years from now that has changed dizzyingly between now and then, with the predominant social climate of that world being one of terror at how it may change next. The Orthogonal trilogy is a story about aliens building a generation ship to avert extinction by meteor in a universe where the dimension of time behaves much more thoroughly like a dimension of space. Schild's Ladder is a story of a far-future interstellar human civilization in a state of societal stagnation placing their hopes for the future in what they might find on the other end of a hole they've inadvertently torn open in the fabric of space-time.

There are a whole bunch of his works that I haven't read yet, but everything that I have read from him I just love.

He's also written a bunch of short stories, so there are those too:

I think I've fapped to this character the most. To me, she's perfect. The ultimate sex fantasy character. When she gets excited, she grows all hyper. But I don't know why I keep coming back to her though. As her creator says "She's just for spanking material. Nothing more." There's nothing deep to her.

Roxi has been there for me in good times and bad. She's really been a comfort to me in my darkest hours. I know her creator says she was just made for "spanking material" but for me, she's something more. I've fapped to her more than anything else! And just recently I bit the bullet and purchased a daki of her.

For a time I resented Roxi and thought loving her was wrong (And maybe it is.) But no matter how much I tried to shake her from my mind, I just couldn't. I can deny my feelings for her no longer. I'm absolutely smitten by her. She's perfect to me. A goddess. My greatest wish is that she was real. If she was, I'd pledge my undying love to her! I would make it my mission in life to make her mine. I want to embrace her in my arms, kiss her always and never let go.

I bought this drawing from https://inkbunny.net/LKIWS and I don't have anyone else to show how awesome it is to. It's the first time I've ever commissioned anything of Eerie because no one can draw him right.

>it's unanimously agreed that they're all pieces of shits except Eerie

It's not unanimous. I know Yossi can be mean, but she's my favorite. I think they're well-designed, visually-speaking and as unusual characters go I don't feel about her like you do about Eerie, but I do like her. If I had a say, I'd suggest making the two work together a bit more, and tone their interpersonal antics down to mutual playfulness.

>>78609

>has had a major hand in dismantling at least two major national organizations

This bears elaboration.

>>82518

I would have assumed that nobody could draw him the way you'd want, but I'm glad you found someone to do so, and that looks very cute. I'd have thought you'd be more angled towards the canon design, though. I just hope you were very nice to them. You can be a bit...or a lot...harsh, at just about anyone who you disagree with.

OP, the only ones I know of are Garrett and now this one who loves Roxikat. I know I've got crushes on a few characters (some of my own and some others), but I prefer my real-life partner to fan crushes, when it comes down to it.

 No.82682>>82730

I asked him to draw Eerie at around 5-8 years old because I knew if I asked him to draw him in his canon teenage years that I would dislike it. I should have specified that in the post but I was too excited.

> i challenge you to describe why you like her without mentioning her appearance or voice

I don't see it as a show which gives a lot of character development, so yes, it's her design. Most of is true, but isn't in the show at all. It's a show with very short scenes in general.

It's been a while, so I went back and watched a bit. If I had to name favorite scenes in general, I love when Eerie and Yossi dance together in sync, and they're both terribly cute when they do so, with her teasing expression and his happy tongue.

I know she's a dick to him, but I also don't see him (or her) with the type of passion you do. If there was any furry-related character I could imagine seeing that way, it's one of mine (pictured).

 No.82954

Erf, the box ate some of my comment. The first line should read: I don't see it as a show which gives a lot of character development, so yes, it's her design. Most of what you say is true about Eerie has come from your beliefs and inferences, but isn't in the show at all. It's a show with very short scenes in general. I can't really get a lot of depth unless I make guesses.

I'll ad that I could, I think, just as easily make up a profile for each of them which doesn't end with Yossi really being a bitch. I don't really have the time or inclination, nor do I think there's a purpose (I'm not trying to mount some sort of argument against your view of either character) but I do think that if I watched much more of the show again, I could put something together. At some point, I might do that just for my own interest.
