This is a completely unnecessary thread to make.

It's not gonna be the end of the world, buddy. There's always gonna be avenues where you will get your fix. Google is your friend, imgur hosts a shitload of patreon pictures without us even realizing that. It all depends on your ability to look out for your fix.

That can still be circumvented by having more than one uniquely watermarked image, from say 2 or more people.

Then they can be compared to identify the watermark, then anybody with decent photoshoping skill can edit out the watermarks.

Often some subtle color & luminosity blurring can help too, especially on cartoon images, since solid color areas should not have variations in levels.

Having to go through the new extra steps for each image will at least discourage some. It's not like those who share unauthorized copies of Patreon submissions benefit in any way from their actions. They only do it because it's easy.

How I would do it-- divide the image into sections, and then encode a UID by distorting the sections slightly. This'll prevent recovering a high-quality image from multiple copies. I could probably knock up a thing to do it in Python-- but I won't because I hate the Capitalist Cancer that took over Furry.
