How about you stop fighting the nature of the internet?
If you are a regular content provider pushing out new content on a regular basis, piracy isn't going to effect you at all due to the output rate, but if you're sitting there hoarding your Art CD's from 2009 and issuing small claim suits then you're heading down the cliff as it is. If I operated a paysite and was making about $7500 a month and I noticed some people were leaking my stuff, I would pop into the thread and say "if you can't pay, then be sure to spread my name around, free publicity if you like my art fam". OR you can go full fucking spergout like FAFcomics.
He used noise grain, blurring, filters, attaching Metadata tags to his pictures unique to every download so he could specifically track down who leaked his shitty pictures and dox their physical addresses including their name, age, photos of them, usernames on social media sites; he destroyed his legit customers because he crippled their access to their purchases because he was so paranoid.
Ubisoft's copyright protection for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas Two was so retarded they locked out everyone who owned a digital copy of the game instead of physical CD version and they couldn't fix it so they had to go on Piratebay and download a cracked version of the game and use THAT to patch the game.
Stop fighting the nature of the beast, welcome to the Internet, piracy is down the hall and to the left.
