This is Dreamkeepers, a graphic novel series in production since '06. Created and self-published by happily married couple David and Liz Lillie.
Post whatever you like here as it relates to the series. Ramblings, theories, official art, Patreon art, memes, porn, etc. I'm just the poster anon here to post the latest graphic novel pages as they're being released for free. I'll also post updates from the creators' prequel webcomic, Prelude. I would post the first three volumes first since this is the first DK thread on this board, but I'd rather just pick up where I left off on /furry/. I'm sure most of us here came from /furry/, anyway.
I'll be posting Volume 4, the latest entry, up to the newest page that has been released and so on. I'll only post the newest Prelude update and post from there. You'll have to double-back and read the current arc from start to present, since I won't be uploading from the beginning. It's recommended that you read from the very first comic strip, tho, if you're new to all this; as well as reading the first novel.

It technically doesn't work the other way around. Either both die at the same time or the Dreamkeeper is killed by Nightmares. In the latter case, the human counterpart is vulnerable to Nightmare attack through the subconscious. In the former, natural causes are the leading cause to both dying at once because both are interconnected. But, the human will never keel over first.

As much as the rest of the fanbase would love to see this series grow into something bigger, I think the Lillies are satisfied in keeping it as small of an endeavor as possible. They have the card game finalized and a side-scroll video game in the works, the next best thing they can do at this point is an animated series (which is what Dave wanted to do to begin with). I personally think that he needs to stick to one specific project and just roll with it. For a two-person business, he's trying to expand too much. I know he has these visions of sticking it to DC, Marvel, IDW, and every other big-name publisher out there, but if he's going to make a legitimate business off his comic, he and his wife need to hire some people on. Some of the patron's were expecting a reunion scene of some of the prelude characters at the Troika base in V5 for some reason.
When it didn't happen they started bitching about how it was out of character (in their head cannon I guess) and complained to Dave in PMs and e-mails. When a new SKOM vote came around enough voted for a reunion scene and that was the previous post.
They threw a shit-fit and threatened to abandon support if Dave didn't rewrite everything so he banned some people and nuked SKOM altogether.
