The trolls, as I said earlier in the thread, were only a small part of the issues. In my opinion, the entire rest of them were staff problems. They were soft on troublemakers, some of them took their jobs too seriously and were stuffy, they turned a blind eye to problems, and staff didn't ban certain staff members from volunteering after they proved to be fuck-ups-- and screw it, I'm naming names, I'm talking about Aloha.

I had friends on staff, and friends who were not on staff and knew enough to see the problems with staff. Again, the con's biggest fault was that the staff apparently just didn't give a fuck; I get the impression that lots of them joined staff simply to be able to say they were helping run a furcon.

Who's in this group? I ran into no over-the-top parties the last few years of RF... at least, not over-the-top by con standards. They went indoors after around 11 PM, and didn't make messes that I saw. I did see ads for an unnamed party showing two blitzed-drunk furs, Galaxy Wulfsky and SkylerTawks in '15, and dropped in fairly late; it was closed-door, all the booze had been consumed, and everybody was sitting around talking while, yes, blitzed-drunk.
Is there a list of staff for AnthroNW anywhere? I don't see one on their website. No matter who's running it, I'll at least attend Year Zero and see how they do it.
