Sure I want it to be good, but I like what the games used to be, we havent gotten a good 2D game since S&K. Every time they say they are going back to the roots like Mania we got awful shit like Sonic 4 Episode 1. SonicTeam should just accept that theyre hacks now and throw some money at fangames. You can make anything look good in a trailer, with a bunch of clip shots from rehearsed gameplay.

>I just downloaded the game and started playing. Had to stop and say this, the emerald bonus level is super fucking fun.

It's in 3D with a Sonic Racing vibe but controls well. You chase a balloon carrying the emerald down a course, collecting blue orbs to speed up and rings to extend the time.

You told me about it and it still blew me the fuck away. The level was great too, bouncing back and forth climbing up and down without getting confusing. I can see why the game took so long. It takes time to put in this kind of polish.
