No way. These plug-and-plays are still a rip off, and I'm expecting a rom will be available pretty quickly. I may finally get around to trying the beta rom before that.

What gets me is that a nearly finished game was canned possibly because Nintendo was worried about a little embarrassment over graphics. And now ironically instead of releasing it with, say, both classic and new updated visuals for their latest system, they're pushing it out with the least amount of effort just to sell the SNES mini.

On another note, does Star Fox have any DEEPEST LORE that goes under the radar?

You're right. But I would skip the beta release, it was a fucking mess unless all you care about is seeing the All range mode the whole game on SNES.

But that was 90s Nintendo when you had ULTRA 64 and Nintendo64DD still trying to push the boundries on pixels and polygons. Current Year +2 Nintendo doesnt give a fuck about that but a remake would have been cool or we could end up with a remake like the 3DS Metroid 2 Other M version2

I played the beta but I'm looking forward to seeing how it compares to the gold version. If nothing else, it means we got 2 more canon characters Fay and Miyu.

You can blame NP and the comics for all of that, blatently in your face with it but never actually outright stated thats what happened. Of course Ninty had to be family friendly pussies later and retcon deconfirm it even when it was on the official art for the original game.

I beat the leaked version a few times. I wonder what if they even have the polished version and what the differences will be. Best case scenario is that they fix the clipping and layering issues that sometimes happen between walls and objects/enemies.

Most people only heard about Star Fox 2 from the dead NP issues. I still remember eagerly awaiting it since Star Fox was one of my favorite games only for it to get canceled and blueballed.

Did you guys know that Fay was the original qt doggo on the team and after the cancellation of SF2 Fay got re-purposed into Bill.

Interestingly the sequel would have changed a lot of canon we got. What do you think, would you like the Star Fox franchise we got more than the Star Fox we could have had?

This could finally stop the same recycled SF64 with minor new things and actually put effort on it. I really wish they would add the option to play as any character in the story with each having their own personal missions or paths to expand replay ability it would be nice to choose at least 3 campaigns like for example: Star Fox, Star Wolf and Cornerian Army each with their own story and endings as each is unlocked after you beat the game or collecting medals on each planet.

I'm not this >>41931 guy. But I am the one above that Slippy post. Star Fox would've stopped at 64 if Miyamoto didn't butcher Dinosaur Planet. He didn't know where to take the series. So, yeah, Adventures is the reason Star Fox still has some life to it.

Nah, it's likely this series would've been just sitting on the sidelines. Simply put; we wouldn't have Assault if it weren't for Adventures, and we wouldn't have Command if it weren't for Assault. And Zero is just a shitter version of 64 with mandatory motion controls.

I don't despise him because he likes what I don't like. I hate him because thanks to the giant salary he has for whatever reason, he always from day to day since years ago commissions the same thing, which he indirectly flooded R34 Falco and Fox content with macro fetish. Because of that, everytime I search and look for Fox or Falco porn, there's always at least 2 or 3 macro arts.

It's hard to have Falco as my husbando on this situation.
