In it "for the aesthetic" IS normalfag right now, so long as you frame it as a casual interest, much like how people are casual Star Wars fans. When every other animated movie has anthro characters, and they're considered "not just for little kids" anymore, nobody gives a fuck if you liked Zootopia.

At least in America, though, porn (and the implication of masturbation) is kind of a "open secret" situation. Literally everyone looks at porn, and literally every masturbates, but if you admit to either then you're looked down upon by society and social groups. It's not considered in good taste to even mention it, except in a joke that doesn't involve you. If you even say that you look at ordinary straight porn or lesbian porn, you will still seem like a pervert and a faggot (because real men just go out and get laid all the time).
