Who started this bullshit "Scratch behind the ears" meme? Whenever my owner takes me out, all those damn human-pups come up to me and almost immediately scratch behind my ears. They seem to think it's the universal sweet spot on us dogs. Why not scratch my nose? Why not scratch my back? Ya know, the parts that actually itch? I can easily reach my paws to my ears if they're itchy. I just don't get it. Sometimes it's even uncomfortable. Like, I was taking a nice nap and then all of a sudden this guy comes up and then scratches behind my ears, thinking it'll make me like him or something.
Can we make this meme die?
