but now I've changed to eating something pretty light within an hour before workout, and I mean light, fast absorption carbs, and plenty of water
this way you get to be loaded but not weighted down by food, blood flows to your stomach for digestion, so keep it at a minimum
one great recipe I'm using lately is mixing in pea and corn grains, they usually come cheap as fuck in those cans
they both mixed have a generous amount of carbs+protons, good on taste and easily digestible
