Will losing weight stop me from getting overheated? I used to be 260lbs at my worst and could not handle heat at all, I would walk around in my boxers (I was NEET) because anything more would cause me to sweat. Now I'm down to 210lbs and it's a lot better.

Will getting down to say, 165lbs or even as low as 150lbs, allow me to manage living in the south and/or california?

What are your experiences with losing weight and quality of life?

I used to be 150lbs as a track runner in highschool and I don't remember having any problems with the heat that I now have. I'm optimistic but somewhat worried, maybe I was just more youthful then, idk.

Improving the function of the thyroid axis will normalize your temperature. Losing or gaining weight could send you to either extreme, too hot or too cold, if you do not make conscious effort to improve thyroid function and health in general, but instead only narrowly focus on a number on a scale.
