Or it could be that you get more done in a single movement, saving time, and snatches develop excellent proportions. More bodybuilders should do various lifts with a snatch grip, imo. Plain deadlifts get boring unless you're a competitive powerlifter. Lifts from behind or in between the legs can break the monotony too.
