Skeleton thread here.

Post stats, body pics, give tips, share feels.

>Eat a cheeseburger!

Fuck off, it's not that simple. Genetic predisposition toward a smaller appetite means I have to eat until I'm ready to puke every meal. Anyone else have this problem? Big guys don't know how hard it is.

>stats

5'6" on a good day, 135lbs.

I deadlifted 275lbs for 6 the other day and got some mires at the gym. Normies are easily impressed, I guess.

6'0" and 165lbs here.

First day back working out after a few months off. My gym only has smith machines and no cages, but I'll make it work. I always stopped working out because even though I could lift more, I'd stay the same weight just a smudge more defined. The real battle for us skeletons is eating consistently.

Again, this is my first day back. But so far I've eaten: 3 eggs, a half avocado, slice of rye toast with a generous amount of cream cheese for breakfast. Weight gainer that had over 500 calories, banana and some carrots post gym and am now eating chicken breast (too much chili pepper on it, but I'll learn) with whole grain rice, beans, broccoli and a light dousing of taziki. I plan to eat some more before the day is done, but even this is the most I've eaten in one day since I can remember.

Supplement wise, I'm doing zma, omega fish oils, vitamin d.

Would have a boner if someone could recommend me something that I could snack on constantly to help gain some pounds when I don't have time to make food for myself.

5'8, just cracked 110. Superskelly as fuck. I'm getting into trail mix as an in-between-meals snack. Seems to be a good route so far. Gonna experiment with making my own granola bars and stuff like that. Anyone have any recommendations for stuff to plant in my garden that'll be good for gains?

At least she gets me a big frozen bag of chicken tendies and rice to eat, so my only excuse for not gaining is me spending my whole day shitposting and playing vidya and forgetting to eat, which is a big problem for me.

Shit sucks.

Muh geeeenes

I fucking hate it when people blame their inability to lose/gain weight on genetics alone. It's such a fucking cop out. Two years ago, I used to be a super skelly (6 foot, 120 pounds), but I ate more and trained hard. Now I'm ~170 pounds. Will it be harder to eat more at first? Absolutely. But the fact that something is hard is no reason not to do it. You need to push yourself, in everything you do, not just at the gym. Always do more than you think you can, and you'll see improvement.

It's not like they can't just add protein scoops, sauces, and oil to their meals with cups of natural sugar juice, milk, and whatever else instead of gobbling down cups of complex carbs and ounces of steaks. Of course it's bullshit, they're retarded phone posting plebs looking for attention.

Honestly, being fat is alpha as fuck bro. Alphas eat first, and the most, no other creatures fuck witchu.

There's a reason kings, queens, politicians and the nobility have always been fat.

Dude, you've already made it. Just don't plateau. When you start to feel like you haven't been eating enough, go eat something inedible.

Yeah, fat fighters and socialist voters have convinced dumb, corrupt politicians and congressmen and women that genetics is real and the major cause to obesity. So it's a disability in a lot of cases, literally. People have been convinced that it's okay to be fat, and that it's something you can't fix, and that working is increasingly difficult when you're that large and to resume living you have to maintain the same caloric intake; that you can't work because of physical health problems imposed by extra weight which includes mental and psychological problems; and besides, you can hardly fit into any car or bus with too much weight.

But don't look at it from a fat person, politician, or regular Joe Shmoe tax payer who doesn't know a thing about taxes. Look at it from an employer's perspective. Would you want a landwhale in your workplace?

Well, it probably isn't the fat fighters and socialists (progressive left, 'democrats', 'liberals', communists, fascists, whatever) who are at direct fault. I would cast a little blame towards those scientists, public relations, journalists, editors, and marketers immediate in between who have normalized the mass communications and thoughts of the public through the medium of fear mongering news profiteers, bloggers and vloggers, and the aggressive exclusion from any reasonable social environment by way of those who all believe in the same things and talk the same ways.

Also doesn't help when people like us are too afraid, lazy, or skeptical to go out spreading and discussing the latest truths and questions we come across out of fear of violence and defamation, especially when these truths are discredited by those with the manipulative power of persuasion and influence over the masses for the sake of profit, power, and image; like when Snowden came forward and all that happened was Apple sales increased with the latest updates, apps, and phones canceling out other companies who outsourced customer service and tech jobs to foreign workers who could be working for their country's prosperity instead of our luxury.

also doesn't help when we have the facts and means of reaching out to these same people who spread these falsities by excluding people like us with good intentions by the security of their safe spaces and community guidelines.

>tl;dr

obesity… epidemic…

>epidemic

>People have been convinced that it's okay to be fat

American socialists are a special kind of stupid. In Sweden it's NOT OK to be fat, because that means you're an evil capitalist who ate someone else's food and you're the reason poor african children are starving. If you're fat you should be ashamed of yourself, that's how real socialism works.

The solution is that the state pays a gastric bypass operation for you and after going through with it you won't be able to get fat again because all you can eat is carrots and noodles in small portions six times a day. I personally know a few people who did this, it's not uncommon.

You misunderstand. I'm certainly not using my genetics as an excuse. I know I can overcome my predisposition to eat less than most people; I bring up the genetics because appetite is something that people like you often overlook. It's not "i have a fast metabolism so i cant gain weight". It's "i have serious difficulty eating enough to gain weight." Big difference.

I would be happy to look like you. I started lifting in July. I got tired of feeling unattractive to women.

The first pic is from August, and the second is recent. I don’t see much difference, although I did gain 10 pounds. I still feel unattractive to women.

I was 135 and 5’11” and now I’m 145. About a month ago I started protein shakes.

I don’t belong to a Gym. I started with 20 dumbbells, doing curls, loaded carries, and push ups. I’m at 35 pounds, but moving up to 40.

I do run and jump rope on opposite days of lifting, which probably doesn’t help. I have Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. It’s extremely common. The meds are the most commonly prescribed meds in the US. My immune system started attacking my thyroid after a viral infection, and didn’t stop even though the virus went away.

It’s the type of thyroid problem that causes weight gain. I gained 30 pounds when I was got sick, and lost it all once I started the meds.

One reason I run, besides enjoying it, is I’m afraid of getting diabetes. My glucose has been just above normal for several years. I’ve only started testing around the time I got hashimotos. My doctor suspects it’s related to that because eat healthfully and have exercised regularly for the past 10 years.

Maybe I’m being foolish, but I’m scared if I stop running the glucose will rise.

My goal isn’t to look like a body builder, but just appear more attractive and not sickly.

Pics are before and after.
