Despite the neigh-ebonics, this is good advice. Also, you must be in bed, trying to fall asleep, by midnight, every night. Very rare exceptions can be made if you go to a concert or a party, but only if you're away from home. Ideally, pick an earlier time- 11pm, 10pm (reasonable tbqh), 9pm- but midnight should be the latest. There's no reason to be habitually awake and out of bed after midnight.
Avoid beer (estrogen from hops), weed (makes you lazy, dumb, not doing useful things), and cigarettes (over 6,000,000 toxins) like the plague. You can occasionally indulge in liquor, wine, pipe smoking and cigars, if you like, but avoid the former three, they are positively degenerate.
And get sunlight for vitamin d and your circadian rhythm.
