Is there anyway better than this to eat a tuna-gain sandwich? It falls apart easily and i dont want to use more than 2 loafs.

Since there's bread in the OP,

what do you think of this guy?

I know that wheat can never be too bad for us (well maybe in america where bread is total shit anyway), considering almost everyone in the west and middle-east have been consuming it for ages. On the other hand, this guy seems right about a lot of things and I've never really seen him properly debunked or anything. I don't know if anyone here is familiar with his claims and if we should care at all? I do find it interesting, I'll see if I can find some time to look more into it.

 No.128470

Get rid of the bread and mayo, throw hot sauce in it. Optionally, accessorize with complex carbs and high-fiber vegetables.

I've had nothing but a Quest Bar, a Met-Rx bar, a Muscle Monster Energy Shake, and a Muscle Milk. I'm at 1,030 calories for today with 103g of protein. I'll be trying to cook a low calorie, high protein chicken and noodle dinner if I can, to top off somewhere around 130-150g of protein for today at under 1,700 calories at the most.

>>128448

try frying it with some egg whites to make it into a tuna salad sammich. Get some different bread god damn it. Get the really fucking tough type, like baguette, so you have to dip it in a soup.

Two whole eggs fried with 1 can of tuna would be roughly the same macros as two cans of tuna. It would be solid enough to fit onto the bread without falling apart. Aside from that, white bread is a poor choice nutritionally, you may enjoy something like whole grain rye or ezekiel bread instead. Mayonnaise is also a poor condiment choice, things like salt, pepper, garlic, or even a hot sauce would be a much better choice to add flavor.

Yeah, not the best choices, I've had nothing but vanilla and chocolate today, but I'm pressed for food as a college student until at least Monday. At least I've gotten nutrients out the ass with the vitamin to boot.

But Quest Bars really are something else. The damn things are about $2 a pop but with no more than 210 calories as far as I've seen at the most, 14-16g of dietary fiber, and between 19-21g of protein, and eighteen fucking flavors instead of just the basic peanut butter, chocolate, vanilla basics. If you wanted to give someone something to snack on real fast before or after a workout and they couldn't cook or the were out on the road or something, I mean, seriously, shit's dro as aff. Everything else I had today was sub par.

Nah, I mean fry up an egg white or two with the tuna to make it into a patty or omelette. And yeah, some different bread. I'm thinking rye. But I want my bread to have high protein, and most high protein starches are high calorie.

The protein found in eggs and tuna is of a much higher bioavailability to humans than that of grain. Just use your bread as a carbohydrate source, and consider the protein in it as an extra bonus.

Replace mayo with plain Greek yogurt. That way you will get even more protein. Or just make a salad instead to make it even healthier.

>1 can tuna

>1/3 cut of Greek yogurt

>two table spoons of chopped red onion or celery

>2 large tomatoes

>parsley

>scallions or green onion

>1 tea spoon of mustard

>ground pepper

>salt

>2 tablespoons of lemon juice or lime juice or rice vinegar

>optional: avocado/cucumber/bell peppers/mango/beans (I choose just one of those)

Chop and cube green onion/scallions, tomatoes, and optional stuff if you chose to add any. Throw everything into a bowl and mix it together. That way it is more nutritious than just a sandwich and it will also keep you full for longer. If you need to eat pastry with it, get some who grain bread.

Here's a whole chicken weighing 5 lbs, who-gives-a-shit kg's, and in the back is stock being made out of leftover veggie scraps I had in the freezer that I added the leftover bones, fat, tendons, AND drippings to from the chicken.

She had a soy, sriracha, honey, and brown sugar glaze - and inside the can (that the top was removed from) was filled with a bag of mixed veggies and water to steam while baking and moisten the chicken without me having to baste. Which I did anyway halfway, with a splash of ground pepper to touch.

I just realized that OP's first solution to his sammich falling apart problem was to add more white bread.

I think it's usually on the bland, tasteless side but that's just the way I make it. Really you can spice it up any way you want, which of course changes the flavor. My current batch has a bunch of bellpeppers, spinach leaves, almonds, and ham cubes in it which tastes pretty decent.

Lentils are about the easiest thing in the world to cook, and they're loaded with protein. They're just short on the amino acid methionine, so eat some meat or something with them.

Anyways, I usually soak 3 bags overnight, then drain and change the water. Then just put them on the stove with a decent amount of water in the pot they float so I can't tell you an exact amount, and put the stove on high. They cook in about 30 minutes, during which you can prep the other ingredients. When they're soft they're done, just try to manage the water so it's for the most part boiled away when it all finishes. You should get the hang of this after once or twice, it's extremely simple.

Lentils are god-tier food bro.

Have you tried baking them in the oven? You can add a cup of oats, an egg or two, half an onion, mix it all up and then put it in the oven for 15 min. It's basically a tuna burger, and generally three cans will be enough to make 6 hamburgers.

Also you are a faggot for eating white bread.
