I do vape, but because I'd smoke tabacco for 12 years of my life, stopped beginning this year, the vape helped get rid of my daily smoking habit
nowadays though I barely even vape, just when relaxed or chilling, even toned down my juice to nill nicotine
it does seems though that vaping reduces you capacity on workout/cardio, so I'd recommend keeping it down pre-workout or to rest days
