How bad is drinking three 40oz of 8.10% malt liquor once a week over the course of around 8-10 hours?

I've read a few articles that state "binge drinking" once a week is worse than if you drank moderately every day. Problem is, every article just had the "binge drinker" literally drink a shit load of alcohol within a few hours and get shitfaced. I on the other hand like to drink pretty much half the day and keep the buzz going until bed.

I'm not trying to argue that alcohol is good in anyway. I know it's bad, we know it's bad, but we all have our vices. You don't have to cut out alcohol completely and stay healthy. If you're a normie and go out, alcohol is everywhere and a part of a lot of social circles.

My main concern is the liver and other organs affected by alcohol consumption. How bad is "binging" once a week really? Like said in the OP, every article I've seem to come across has the person binge drinking an insane amount of alcohol in one night/few hours. Say the moderate drinker drinks a handle through out the week and the binge drinker drinks the same amount in one night, in less than 4 hours. They say the binge drinker has worse results but that's probably because he drank so much in such short amount of time. What if the binge drinker drank that same handle through out the day? 12+ hours? Would the results be the same? The liver can metabolize only a certain amount of alcohol per hour so wouldn't spreading that handle over 12+ hours compared to ~4 do less damage?

I don't know friend. I started on light beer, moved up to malt liquor then straight up liquor. At the end of the day, I'm not saving much calories by drinking liquor compared to malt liquor. At best, I save around 200-300 calories. I'm just going by how much I drink to keep the buzz going and when I stop when I've had too much. I would actually drink more on some nights when I have a 1.75L bottle laying around. At my worse, I would drink about 3/4ths of a 1.75L bottle in one night. Sometimes I mix it with diet soda but usually I just dilute it with water.

Calories from alcohol is still better than calories from carbs. I drink the same amount but it feels better knowing that it's not coming from carbs.

A neat trick is drinking your liquor with tea. It tastes good and you don't have to drink as much to feel a buzz.

a few years ago i had the habit of drinking a 6-pack of steel reserve every weekend. Usually I'd have 3 on a friday, 3 on a saturday. got me nice and toasty for nice and cheap.
