Current and upcoming!
>The Romanian Carpathian mountains; a young Belgian couple. She's suffering from an illness, he tries to comfort her the best way he can. But the outcome is inevitable. After she's gone, the grief-stricken protagonist starts wandering, choosing not to speak ever again. His primitive existence consists of strange, physical rituals that fascinate the locals. But once again, the outcome is inevitable, as the man slowly disappears as well. Drift is a daring debut film by Belgian director Benny Vandendriessche, starring actor and performance artist Dirk Hendrikx. A film like no other, mixing cinema with performance art, video art and modern dance.http://vimeo.com/72215927 ▶ No.971
Stations of the Cross/Kreuzweg
>Maria is 14 years old. Her family is part of a fundamentalist Catholic community. Maria lives her everyday life in the modern world, yet her heart belongs to Jesus. She wants to follow him, to become a saint and go to heaven - just like all those holy children she's always been told about. So Maria goes through 14 stations, just like Jesus did on his path to Golgatha, and reaches her goal in the end. Not even Christian, a boy she meets at school, can stop her, even if in another world, they might have become friends, or even more. Left behind is a broken family that finds comfort in faith, and the question if all these events were really so inevitable. STATIONS OF THE CROSS is an indictment and, at the same time, the legend of a saint. It's a story of religion, devotion and radical faith, and the film itself comes along just as radical as the subject matter, telling the story in only 14 fixed-angle long shots, allowing the viewer to contemplate the interactions on screen in an entirely different way than in a traditional film. http://youtu.be/d6h_uNMhPKM▶ No.972

I there's something special about this trailer, I know next to nothing about the film itself, but the director's previous movie had a vibe kind of similar to Dardenne films, so this should be interesting as well.

>A documentary portrait about Klaus Johannes Wolf and his life as a slave.
>Chained on his bed he's talking about his decision, his parents and what it means to be
naked.
>Finally he leaves everything behind and visits a slave camp to improve his slave life and become the perfect servant.
At last, some thought provoking cinema.

If I hear bits of an interesting soundtrack I'll watch the movie regardless of what it's about
For example I've read nothing about this film but the music is twee as fuck. (inb4 h8)
Admittedly I get sucked into anything with a retro fetish.
