Hey guys. I recently saw The Road after reading the novel, and I was wondering if there were any other films that have themes of father-son relationships under intense circumstances. Thanks guys

I don't know that story but the poster made me think of The Return

I think a lot of Japanese films would qualify as it fits their culture. The first couple that come to mind are Saumrai Rebellion an Sansho the Baliff.
