What are some really comfy films? I'd rather have something light and happy.

Bring me everything you've got, except Wes Anderson. I'll watch films from any time period. I was thinking about watching Louis Malles Black Moon, but I'm not sure if that's what I want.

I don't know if I really understand comfy

Wes Anderson made me think of Harold and Maude, Le bonheur. And Roman Coppola's CQ. I like all three, but maybe you don't even want something remotely Anderson-y.

Have you seen the OSS 117 movies? Mr. Hulot's Holiday?Sherlock Jr.?

A lesser-known Italian comedy that's worth watching is Casanova 70 with Marcello Mastroianni.

For completely silly I recommend Mario Bava's Le spie vengono dal semifreddo, but be sure to get the Italian cut.

is pre-code "comfy"?
