How can i dress like a conservative old white man from America (post retirement)? I'm guess cardigans, members only jckets, bathrobes, light or dark brown suit pants, but would trucker hats work? I'm a manlet spic btw.

I am joking just a little, but i'm genuinely interested in dressing similarly because it's suppose to look respectable and it won't look like i'm trying to copy oldmen on me. Like nazi fashion except american and 'older'.

You might be right or you could have a different idea of what i mean. Is there a non-cringe/tryhard version of what you're thinking of?

No. You will always look like a tryhard, I'm English (so I don't know much about American politics) but you would look like something I'd call "Republican Fedoracore"

Honestly, a lot of video guy's fits are doable for younger people as long as you don't go overboard, and provided you slim it down. Assuming you already dress decently or have some sense of style or interest in fashion, then you shouldn't have much trouble identifying which pieces to avoid and which to incorporate into your fit. Keep it simple. Just take inspo from old guy style and then adapt it to your age and body type.

A lot of old men dress in relaxed or regular fit clothing, but you'll want to dress in slim fit (unless you're built, in which case reg fit can look good). Especially considering you're a manlet; you'll want to make yourself look as tall as possible otherwise you can accidentally get that I-raided-my-dad's-closet look.

>Don't wear slim fit if you have a good body

What, are you retarded? Slim fit clothes enhance your body's aesthetics

I worded it poorly.

I meant to say that you should wear slim fit clothing if you're not built, because relaxed fit can make you look like a 12 year old. Slim fit obviously does enhance body aesthetics even in well-built people, but they can also get away with wearing regular fit clothing since the extra muscle allows those types of cuts to fit well. I was suggesting that, in general, well built people can get away with regular fits, whereas skeletons typically look better in slimmer fitting clothing.
