How long is the acceptable period between wearing the same outfit?

For example, if there's a particular set of Shoes/pants/shirt/hoodie you like a lot, but obviously you can't wear it every day or you'll look like some sort of weirdo, how long is the proper amount of time to wait between repeating outfits?

Do you think it differs between articles of clothing? Is it acceptable to wear the same jacket and pants two days in a row with a different undershirt and shoes?

Discuss

Pic unrelated but I couldn't think of an image

Depends on how low-key the article of clothing is.

I end up wearing my beater palladiums and old army jacket 4 days a week because of the rain, personally. It's just become part of my style at this point, fits my aesthetic well enough that it doesn't bother me.

As for rotating out pieces, that's perfectly fine.

Also keep in mind that no matter how much thought you put into your outfit, most people will never notice that you wore the same undershirt or jeans twice in a row. People's eyes go straight to jackets and shoes.

Most people don't give a shit and will never notice unless you're wearing the same neon colored outfit every day. Even just having a 3 day cycle will go unnoticed by 98% of people you meet.

i usually alternate between three different fits in a weekly cycle. you can also wear the same pants for three days in a row at least.

>liking to have some level of variety in what I wear=being a try hard

God forbid I like to keep things at least a little interesting.

Why so quick to throw insults?

OP here

Better wording for the topic of this thread would be "how often does /fa/ recycle fits/to what degree do you frequently do so"
