Guess it'll have to come down to that, but i doubt anyone that hasn't moved yet will now, specially with cripplekike lastest antics.

The /beauty/ girls didn't know much. They were just posturing and pasting from other places. There's a fashion thread up at lolcow.farm /g/ which is semi active.

Raf was a disappointment for me this season, besides a couple of dresses and skirts and of course the pvc boots( which became such a hit that he used them a again in his couture season) the rest was really average, the long legging dresses were old stuff by now, etc
Im dare to say Raf took from Rick since he also used the uneven dress cut

Let me talk now about male fashion.
Givenchy this year was, well, choking to say the least.
Im still not sure how to feel about this collection, is it blasphemous? could Tisci do something like that?
after a couple of more "normal" looks from Tisci, it looks like he wanted to do the same he did a few years back and put religion on the walkway. But this time instead of the Madonna, he put Jesus. A dying Jesus.
Its like he thought "uhm Im gonna make a collection with Jesus face, im going all in" since he even made some Jesus skirts like shorts. And out of nowhere he had a female lingerie walking along Jesus.
Very strange.

Frankie Morello was really good too. While he had simple pieces (just pants and sweaters) he made most, maybe even all his arguments on the concept side of fashion.
While showing explosion on sometype of grid, im guessing he wanted to show the repetitiveness of it, the huge amount of wars and explosions and shit. But then, he startd to show greek sculptions imagery, that turned into full on vaporware, by the end he had a couples of fits with the words "MAKE ART NOT WAR", showing that art is greater than war (duh)

Really like the first one blue pants guy
>2015
>vaporwave

>2015
>trying to shock people with christian religious imagery
That's so 90s.
There are better ways to do that today, but i doubt most designers have the freedom and/or guts to really try and shock people.

its literally vaporware.
>>4251
>That's so 90s.
Tisci did it in the early 2000 for Givenchy too, which caused a roar. Thats why this collection its so idk
the thing is Tisci is catholic, so its even more of shock (shocking) because they are so up tight with religious imageries and such

Exactly.

Perhaps that's the thing, not really trying to cause controversy and shock people, perhaps it's something personal.

I love this label Trove. FW 2010 is my favorite collection. I don't have even 1/20 of my old fashion folder. The seasonal collections are easily acquired, but I lost many great fits from the Trove shop's daily blog that weren't in formal collection lookbooks.

Michael Kors ss16
I basically had the same feeling watching this as with the new Dolce and Gabbana season fits.
They both have the same ease. Its like the agreed on this.
Theres something of an earthly feel, kinda like a breeze, -its just a collection to easily put on his pocket, very commercial, very sellable.
The dresses looks a bit too heavy on the pictures i found, but if you watch the video, the movement they have, and with the lights on it, give them an slight transparency that makes it very delicate. It also seems like Kors its look for new ways to introduce -or sell-, his famous and now iconic 2015 flowered skirt, but i think since it doesnt match up to that one it makes these ones looks idk "uglier".
Theres nothing in the collection that could not be in any womans closet, and that bores a little.
I found his previous collection more interesting.

Look at the bright side 8/fa/ won't have any "wat do now" drama.
At this point i'll just wait until things calm down and there's some consensus on the site as to what to do, because infinity next is at the time being more barebones and broken that the current one.
