I know the general rules of thumb as far as it goes, but I'm particularly curious about this amulet.
It follows the darker metal scheme, with the bronze-ish color and whatnot, but the stone and general shaping of the amulet seems a bit feminine.
Thoughts?

I had no idea who/what that was until I looked it/him up. Not sure what it/him has to do with necklaces.

Fair enough, good to hear a relevant opinion. What about this one?

That's better, but still not good.

Necklaces almost always look silly on men, and sometimes on women. Especially these kinds, where the charm looks like it is from a video game.
Basically, wear these if you want to convey the feeling that you are a nerd. Not /fa/, dnc

Sounds reasonable. Not into the whole, "hurr I'm a nurd" thing, but it's more for people who follow the same fandom/franchise, you know?

ESO, in this case.

Hate to necro, but I think this is the best place to ask.
What goes good with dog tags? Should I even wear the damn things? I know they're for the military, but I like the look of them. The ones I have look like pic related, no engravings like in the military.

Unless you're built and in the armed forces, do not bother. It's best to just stay away from necklaces if you're male, especially if you're white.

Wear something simple. Wooden or copper beads on a leather string or some twine from Michaels or some shit.
Better yet, go to Michaels, buy some wooden beads and string and make the shit yourself.
Simple is always key.

This guy does not know what he is talking about
A necklace on a guy is fine, but its like all jewelry for men, its a very VERY light touch. Everything posted here so far is a bad example of what to wear.
A good, safe example of male necklace is a simple, short, white gold chin, if you are light skinned, and yellow gold if you are darker skinned. you dont want a choaker, and you dont want a bling piece.
In today's world, remember, a little can go a very long way.

If you really want them then join the military.
Otherwise you'll have the stolen valour community up your ass.
