This is basically the state of things all throughout USA now, yeah. It doesn't matter where you go. Someone might try to argue that the towns and rural communities are different and no degeneracy goes on there but that is bullshit. Meth, heroin, and other forms of self destruction are rampant everywhere but it is especially alarming in small town communities. People are dropping like flies up in West Virginia. It's sad.

Do media report about it in US, do people talk about it? Because all info I have is from some US youtube channels/personas who talked about it very briefly as if it was big issue but not really serious (or worthy as topic)? Maybe people overdosing on heroin won't generate the sweet ad revenue as trolling feminists, but I don't know. I would just imagine this should be among most important topics even for establishment because generation which should pay taxes is on OD wave. There were from UK some documents about zoomers on xanax, I guess some people tried to bring attention to this problem but it seems like nobody really gives that much fuck. Man, I'm not person of logic. I accept your honesty, that's why I don't personally attack you or tell your what you should believe but I'm too old dog to learn new tricks. Some of my views are carved in stone and can't be changed - one of them being that christianity heavily relies on judaism and thus I can't take word of christian about jews seriously. Another one being that catholic church is nothing but a rotten institution which plays for its own interests. The only christians I have mere respect for are eastern/greek orthodox christians but still I wouldn't take any lectures about jews from them. I hope you understand.

Most of the media barely touches the source - they'll touch it sometimes, but it's not discussed that often. Usually it's just some passing mention of the death toll or the kinds of drugs found or illegal distribution.

The fact is the big pharmaceuticals actually are heavily responsible for this. I've known one or two doctors who'd personally attest to how Purdue was setting up conventions in the '90s just to sell the lie that Oxycontin was definitely safe and effective. It's not, and so it was overprescribed and the market was created for it. It's true, the overall addicted population is not solely people who took it for chronic pain to begin with, but they comprise both a substantial number of overall addicts, and they were the vector which brought these drugs to market. I've personally had a friend offer me his prescription meds.

Meanwhile, illegal fent comes more from Europe and China via the ports. I know because I've ordered it. It's not so easy to detect that you'd need to sneak it across the Rio Grande or whatever. It's rather easy to hide.
