I am not sure what you mean but I don't think it is categorically wrong to befriend people or hang out with them. yes attachment and being needy is bad but I think you can also enjoy some quality time with people you like.

there is nothing that would be bad about it if you both enjoy it.

Ikr, being a total misanthrope won't really get you far. I always thought people who expect from people only the worst are dumb but I realized it's really nice way to go. They either can prove your assumptions or very nicely surprise you. I don't mean you should have always negative attitude towards every new person you are going to meet but just don't have your expectations high, give people right to have flaws.
