Why is the majority of prisoners female, and innocent ones at that? I am trying to run a ship, not a harem.

Alan Haggerty - Crew engineer. Picked him over Colton because the old guy is, well, old, and could die at any moment. I also like the cut of Alan's jib, and his experience with guns could help out

Kazuo Yano - Crew medic. Again, picked over Heywood, because he's not about to die. I like how Kazuo did what must be done, without going all edgy "I like the suffering" about it. A solid man.

Gabriella Ibarra - Pilot. I have a Fighter for her, but she will have to learn how to handle the ship itself, too.

Rurik Boykov - Sniper. He is a solid soldier, would love to have him in my crew

Ed Butler - Sniper, too. He sounds like a great guy to have around.

Joseph Spencer - A great soldier, would glad to have him our my team.

Hank Alexander - A solid, dependable man.

I am going to run the ship as a small PMC. We shall all have duties, we shall respect one another, and we will work together to get the hell away from pursuit. Luckily, thanks to Victoria being so hotheaded, we can evade her in lawless space. We shall drift from place to place, helping humans, killing xenos, and raiding pirates. Pirates ain't got nothing on us, because we're much more militarized, yet unbound by law. When we scrape together enough cash/sell gold, we will get ourselves a hacking specialist, upgrade the ship's weapons, and maybe start looking to expand our operations and crew. Ideally, we'll end up as a very powerful mercenary force, which would transform into a human-centric government at one point. Me and Hank are basically walking bringers of destruction, while Rurik and Ed can destroy everything from afar. Hope everyone likes power armor

The ship's airlock closes and Samuel exclaims "So they came through!" Then he gives starts moving toward the bridge with purpose. We follow him and he is standing at a center console being scanned. "You lot, if you want to escape follow my orders. This ship's tactical AI has recognized me as the captain. No one can operate the ship without my authorisation." He looks at us and then stops at me. "You, take the piolits seat." As i walk passed him i see what looks like my profile on the console he was at, he definity planned this escape. I'm innocent, this is getting out of control, but at least now i have a chance to escape.

Seeing the fascist, capitalist, Terran Empire Koizumi Ottokai decided to bring fire and blood to the Terran scum!

Koizumi's parents were killed, right in front of his eyes, when he was little, by the Terran Empire, and on that day he swore to eliminate all those who wronged him. He joined up with the "resistance" when he turned 18 and had quickly risen through the ranks, to eventually becoming the best warrior in the resistance.

Koizumi carries a Regal Premium left to him by his old, now departed, master. He swore to avenge his master after he was killed by psychic mind-bending powers of a Terran assassin. :^)

Name: Pantera

Description: Heavily augmented caucasian male and 33 years of age. Either way, he swiftly rose to prominence as one the most efficient wet work operatives in the empire. He eliminated everything from rogue operatives to crime lords to political dissidents. At the end of the day, he was the perfect killing machine. At least he was until his unit was caught in the cross fire of a bureaucratic dick waving contest and suffered horrific casualties.

Enraged, Pantera led the remaining handful of his men on a rampage through the intelligence communities killing dozens of high ranking officers. Fortunately for him, he was never caught as this was essentially an internal shadow war.

Unfortunately, his luck ran out after the original agency, still unknown to him, decided they wanted their asset back and took out the last of his men. Alone, he disappeared for a week before infiltrating the home of his former superior officer and killing the man.

As, technically speaking, he didn’t exist, his superior was simply a random civilian, and none of his other kills were linked back to him, he was sentenced to be executed for murder. Luckily for him, the Empire fucked up and now he’s got a crew, a ship, and a hell of hate boner for the men that burned him.

My plan for dealing with the pursuers is simple. Melanie is going to be put through the wringer until her idealism is shattered and Jack can recruit her to his cause. This place is space hell, there should be plenty of atrocities that’ll crack her exterior. I’m pretty sure Maxwell will either be fragged or simply get her ship killed because she felt insulted. Either way, if Jack needs to deal with her, he’ll just send her a pretty little fusion bomb as a belated birth day present.

As for the rest of the drawbacks, those apply mostly to the Empire or civilized space. There is none of that.

For the long haul I want Jack and his men to master the art of the murder hobo. They’re all ex military and all experienced veterans so I doubt either discipline or following orders will be much of an issue. They’re going to start nicking things they don’t have. Discharge beams, cloaking devices, support craft, etc. etc. Then, they’re gonna build themselves a fucking pirate armada. All of them have a hate boner for the Terran’s and they will get their pound of flesh.

As a side note, I’m pretty sure he killed Ottokai’s parents.
